What you can expect on my photography tours?

PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS

We will explore the best photography locations. The trip is designed for photographers and in every aspect has been worked out to meet your expectations. You will experience morning and evening photo sessions in the best locations and viewpoints. The program will be adjusted to weather conditions to give you the best possible effects. We will cover topics like composition, exposure and light usage. You will learn shooting techniques including tricks used by professional photographers.

POST-PROCESSING CLASSES

During the workshop we are going to have post processing sessions.  You will learn:

  • basic and advanced digital processing (Lightroom & Photoshop)
  • practical application of photographic filters and other landscape photography techniques
  • discussion on photos taken during the workshops and your portfolio
  • my unique workflow of B&W digital processing in LR

ACCOMMODATION

You will be accommodated in comfortable single room. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom.

Breakfast is included in the workshop price.

MEETING POINT

Our meeting point is Kraków.

TRANSPORT

Local transport is organized using my and participants’ cars. We usually use 2 or 3 cars for a group of 6 participants. Participants receive their e-mail addresses before the workshop and can choose to rent a car together to share the costs. The reason for not including transportation is that it would add extra cost to the workshop. Most participants would likely combine a workshop with a longer stay in Poland. If you do not drive a car and you do not feel comfortable with this way of traveling, write to me – we will find a solution.

FAQ

I’m beginner, is this for me?

Yes. The group of participant is very small and I’m able to adjust the program to meet the expectations of the participants.

I don’t know Lightroom, is it for me?

Yes. Postprocessing classes are optional. Although for me it is important part of the photographer work. I will help you to get familiar with the tool if you want.

I’m not doing B&W, is it for me?

Yes. We will visit best locations in the South Poland. Most of them are adequate for both – B&W and color And if you feel that you would like to try B&W and enrich your portfolio – I will share with you the knowledge to do that.

I would like to join but I’m busy at that time, what to do?

This page presents only the nearest workshop time. Please contact me to get information about other options.

What camera I can use during the workshop?

I use Canon Camera and have detailed knowledge of Canon cameras, however photographers with any camera are welcome. It is expected that you are familiar with your equipment, but I will be happy to help you to set up any advanced options. For landscape photography in this area we will mostly need the focal lengths from 24 mm to 200 mm.

I’m not fluent in English, is it for me?

Yes. The language of the workshop is English. Basic knowledge of the language is enough.

What weather conditions I can expect?

In Poland it is beginning of Autumn season. In the early mornings it can be cold, especially in the mountain area.  Please bring warm clothes with you.
